Seven Oaks of Florence
Seven Oaks of Florence has been nominated a Community of Quality for 2008. We are
proud to be the first Affordable Housing Community for seniors in Omaha to receive
this award and the 3rd in the state of Nebraska. “Anyone can provide Senior Housing,
but it takes the dedication of a sponsor like the Notre Dame Sisters, a talented
staff and supportive residents and family to make a community,” said Executive Director
Julie Kaminski.

Seven Oaks of Florence offers affordable, enriched neighborhood senior living. It
is located in a beautifully wooded area on the campus of the Notre Dame Sisters,
and features efficiency, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The apartments
in our HUD-assisted buildings have income guidelines, while others have virtually
no income restrictions in order to maintain the economic diversity typical of Florence
and the surrounding Omaha community.
The residents of Seven Oaks of Florence have many services and activities available
to them, and a caring and helpful staff to work with them. The residents have formed
a close community that welcomes new residents and is supportive of current residents.
