Activities
A healthy life is an active life. We have a vibrant activity and wellness program that is geared toward the interest and needs of our residents. Some activities are sponsored and conducted by the Notre Dame Sisters, neighborhood volunteers, local schools and organizations, and some have been created by the residents themselves.

We have State of the Art exercise equipment, with a Treadmill, Nu-Step and an Aerodyne Bike

Tai-Chi is offered twice a week along with an exercise class three times a week.

Outings on our Bus- Target, De Soto Bend, Apple Orchard etc.

Dynamic Arts and Theater Groups

Two movies a month on our Big Screen TV, with popcorn and pop

Services
We offer a variety of services for our residents. One thing that makes us unique is our full- time Service Coordinator. The Service Coordinator helps residents obtain the supportive services necessary to allow them to live independently for as long as possible with dignity and respect. Some of the services residents receive include housekeeping, medication set-up, help with bathing and transportation, and Meals on Wheels. Services offered directly at Seven Oaks include:

Community Room for residents and their families

Coin-operated laundry in the common areas

Elevators to all areas of the building

Wi-Fi plus a Computer Room with volunteer instruction for new computer users

Outside walking areas with beautiful grounds and wildlife

Close parking at the door

Trash removal

Apartment maintenance and repair

Noon meal- Monday through Friday in the central dining room

Monthly on-site banking with American National Bank.

Weekly Transportation to two local grocery stores
Special Services

A fully-equipped Beauty Shop is open two days a week

Our Library has many books and 150 Large Print Books from the Omaha Public Library that is supplied with new books every three months.

A weekly Health Clinic, staffed by a nurse-aid. The clinic focuses on health maintenance, offering blood pressure checks and other preventive health services.

Frequent workshops on a variety of topics such as nutrition, wellness, prescription drugs, exercise, etc.

Those who wish are welcome to worship in the Notre Dame Sisters' Chapel where a Catholic Mass is offered daily.
